I left Telopea in 1968 and became a Primary School Teacher after studying at Westmead Teachers’ College. Graduated in 1970 and was appointed to Brewarrina CS what an experience!! Taught at Adelong and then headed overseas for 18 months. Back in Australia in 1975 and spent two years in Albury. Married Michael in 1977 and lived in Bourke for 3 years when Kate (1978) and Scott (1980) were born. In 1981 we moved to a little farm just outside Tamworth in Dungowan. Andrew was born in 1985 and we have lived at Dungowan ever since – A beautiful spot with the Peel River as our boundary. After running a small business for 6 years I went back to teaching and study – Moved into Special Ed after obtaining my degree through Flinders Uni. I have been retired for two years from the job of Disability Programs Consultant with NSW Dept. Education. Our children are all happily settled with two in Sydney and one married and living in Iowa USA. Michael and I are enjoying developing our little farm which we now have time for as well as some travel which we love. I’m sorry I’m unable to make the reunion – I know you’ll enjoy the memories and a good time. Thank you Brett and team for all the planning and the great website. I have enjoyed the ‘trip down memory lane!’
