Barbara Burns

I lived in Melbourne for four years after leaving school, working at the Victoria Institute of Colleges as a clerk.  I then moved to Sydney where I lived for about 10 years changing jobs whenever I got sick of them.  I have worked at Vogue Magazine in the subscription department, Sydney University Careers and Appointments Service, Freehill, Hollingdale and Page Solicitors as a word processing operator/supervisor, the NSW Environment Centre/Nature Conservation Council and at Kershaw's Tree Seeds.  I have been living in Tweed Heads since 1985 and working at Seagulls Club since 1989.  I got a job with Gold Coast Tweed Giants Rugby League Football team in late 1987 who were based at Palm Beach.

They were bought by Seagulls in 1989, eventually changed their name to Gold Coast Seagulls and I continued to work with the team as clerk/secretary until it changed hands again in 1996.  I stayed on with the licenced club in various capacities since, now only working part time.

So that's me up to date.
